Vapotherm Access is a community of caregivers with the goal to empower people with ongoing respiratory conditions to live a better life. With our team of nurses, care coordinators, and partnered providers, you’re not alone.

If you have an ongoing respiratory distress condition, such as Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease (COPD), emphysema, bronchitis, or asthma, Vapotherm Access is right for you! Vapotherm Access can make it easier to manage your condition(s), by giving you the coaching, access to care, and support you need when you need it most.

On Vapotherm Access 365, you check-in daily and receive feedback on their symptom changes. We may contact you if we notice a change in your symptoms and coordinate with your provider or one of our partnered providers. We may also assist in transmitting prescription(s) to your preferred pharmacy if required.

Any patient sponsored by their provider, insurance plan, or employee health plan is eligible.

Through our telemedicine service and partnerships with pulmonary clinics, Vapotherm Access will connect you with a provider.

Vapotherm Access Care Team is available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. eastern time, 365 days per year. Telehealth and in-person visits vary.

The apps and website are available in English and Spanish. Telephone support is available in English, Spanish, Russian, and Armenian, with additional languages supported through a Language Service Line.

Peak Flow Meter, Pulse Oximeter (with connectivity via Bluetooth and/or provided cellular hub if needed), Instructions, Patient Handbook, and a magnet to help keep essential program details handy (username, password, and contact information).

Peak Flow measurement is a quick test to measure air flowing out of the lungs. It is a simple measurement of how quickly you can blow air out of your lungs.¹

The pulse oximeter observes a rapid measurement of oxygen saturation level in your body without using needles or taking a blood sample. The measure amount shown on the screen reflects the saturation of your red blood cells with oxygen.²

In addition to color ratings, Vapotherm Access includes both number and written descriptions of symptoms and symptom changes.

A COPD flare-up is also known as an exacerbation and is a sudden worsening of your COPD symptoms that may require additional treatment. These flare-ups cause permanent lung damage so it is important to understand the signs and symptoms so that you can prevent them. 64% of our studied patients experienced a reduction in exacerbations in the first month of enrollment.

Vapotherm Access does not bill patients for their participation in our services. If the provider is billing monitoring or telemedicine services, patient cost-share may apply. The provider is responsible for collecting cost-share and co-payments. We are always expanding our product offerings, join the journey and stay up to date.
